Lexington Tournament

We play in the Lexington Tournament Tuesday, Thursday and Friday of this week. All games begin at 6:00 pm, with the 8th grade game to follow immediately. Our schedule for the week:

Tue - 6:00 pm - Small Gym vs Ridgeview
(Red uniforms w/ red shooting shirt)

Thu - 6:00 pm - High School Gym vs Lexington
(Red uniforms w/ black t-shirt)

Fri - 6:00 pm - Small Gym vs Tremont
(White uniforms w/ red shooting shirt)

All games played at Lexington Sr/Jr High School. Our score keeper is the "official" book on Friday night. Admission is $3 per adult and $2 per student each night.

After school, your son should report to HELP from 3:00 - 4:00. At that time, he should go to Mr. Kashner's class room where they will eat their pre-game meal and we can discuss last minute details before loading the bus. If you did not purchase a meal from Mrs. Brooks, he should make arrangements to get food between 3:00 and 4:00. Even if he is not eating a team meal, he should be in Mr. Kashner's class room by 4:00. Our bus will leave at 4:45 pm. We will employ the same schedule on Thursday and Friday.

For away games, I encourage the 7th grade families to stay and watch the 8th grade game through at least half time. As we learned at the 8th grade scrimmage on Saturday, we can learn a lot about the game by sitting together as a team and watching what goes on in their games. If you want to drive your son home from Lexington tonight, you must sign him out following the game. I will have a clipboard available on our bench immediately following the game. If you want your son to ride home with another ADULT, you must contact me before we leave for tonight's game (we leave at 4:45) in writing - either a hand written note that your son delivers to me or via e-mail (SGrothfam@aol.com).
